Job Accountabilities
- Financial Analysis Unit (GCA) is an independent unit within the Corporate Banking that prepares the credit applications for all segmented clients of Credit Agricole Egypt, takes part in the decision-making process and manages the approved limits.
- Preparation of credit reviews, both for prospects (new credit files) and existing clients (annual and interim reviews / facility enhancements) to be presented in local committees.
- Spreading (in Anadefi) and analyzing the audited accounts submitted by the clients.
- Responsible for updating client ratings within the system, keeping it in line with any changes in sector/country ratings.
- Obtaining, in coordination with the Coverage team, all the information required for the preparation of the credit files.
- Drawing conclusions on the overall risk of the counterpart.
- Supporting Senior banker and/or métier for credit analysis purposes.
- Ensuring limited/nil extension of credit packages.
- Training and assisting junior and financial analysts
- Ensuring follow up of decision process, and approvals.
Qualifications and Experience
- College degree, preferably with an exposure to financial Modelling / Analysis..
- 3-5 years of experience in Analysis.
- Credit Course is a must.
- Adequate knowledge of credit /financial analysis, with wide exposure to the Egyptian market.
- Ability to assess risks and draw credit conclusions.
- Communication skills with both internal (relationship managers, risk and operations) and external clients.
- Leadership skills.
- Methodical and systematic in work approach.
- Very Good command of Computer skills (Word, excel & power point).
- Excellent Command of English Language both written & spoken.
- Articulate, confident communicator and presenter.
