Job Accountabilities
- Prepare AAIB financial statements in accordance to CBE Regulations and Egyptian Accounting Standards.
- Prepare assigned AAIB group financial reports in accordance to IFRS.
- Respond to any assigned task by Head of Financial Reporting.
- Assist in Implementation of new reports’ structure, procedures and framework & ensure that the Financial Reporting Analyst is applying it correctly
- Maintain the plan of implementing any new regulations, accounting standards and related laws and ensure the correct application of the plan & procedures.
- Participate in Managing the communications with external auditors & Group finance departments to ensure the professionalism and efficiency.
- Implement process for assigned reports to ensure that it matches with AAIB Trial Balance.
- Ensure the accuracy & efficiency of external auditor’s analysis requirements.
- Follow up the closing of any errors and coordinate with team colleagues with the corrective and enhancement plans directed by Consolidated Reporting Manager and Head of Reporting.
- Implement and report all the risks that may be occurred from wrong or misreporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance ـــ Major Accounting
- Maintain detailed knowledge & good understanding of banking operations and their system.
- 1-3 years for Officer & 3 – 5 years of experience for Sr. Officer in banking field
- Adequate understanding of Governance / Compliance and Risk Management.
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills.
- Expert computer skills. (Excel & Access)
- Strong Accounting & financial reporting skills.
- Strong negotiation & communication skills.
