Commercial Operations Analyst at Property Finder

Job Accountabilities

  • Analyze sales and revenue data to provide insights that inform strategic decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop interactive dashboards using BI tools (e.g.,Analytics Studio, Tableau, Power BI) that provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics, enabling commercial teams to make data-driven decisions and optimise their strategies.
  • Proactively identify new market entrants through automated data mapping with our existing databases by analysing additional market data.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to streamline commercial operations and improve customer engagement through data-backed insights.
  • Drive automation of existing manual processes to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate sales tracking in your primary markets and support group wide where required
  • Utilise Python and SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources, providing actionable insights for optimising commercial processes.
  • Create dashboards that not only visualise key performance metrics and trends but also provide predictive analytics, helping commercial teams anticipate market shifts and respond effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Monitor sales team performance and assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain automated sales forecasting models to support accurate planning and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with data, commercial strategy, and business analysis teams in sharing ideas and approaches in key tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
  • 2- 3 + years of experience in a similar commercial or data analysis role, consultancy background a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation.
  • Strong understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience in building dashboards for commercial use using BI tools (e.g., Analytics Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
